It’s nice to think about how our self-image can change over time, shaped by our experiences, the skills we acquire, and our growing awareness of our true values.
This time, I’m going to do it with the awareness that it’s not important to say everything or to say it perfectly, but to give a representation of myself that can inform and maybe even pique curiosity. I’m also going to do it with the carefree attitude of a child who doesn’t know what he’s going to do when he grows up.
That’s why introducing yourself is never easy. You always do it as if it were the first time, and you need to have a clear and transparent image of yourself in order to communicate the important concepts. The most curious thing is that each time is a new experience. You can tell a little more, go into small details, or “skim over” another small interest, and so on.
Passion for work
Civil engineer since birth, immersed in my Lego boxes, inherited in part from my father, I grew up with the passion for building and with the idea that every solid structure can be seen from the foundations. I carry this conviction in my backpack every day and the awareness that only by involving the right people in the right way can we create the right bond with the project. Parallel to this passion, I began to become interested in space programs, orbital flight and airports. In 2011, the world of airports intervened on my path and since then, until 2020, I have dedicated myself to making them better, a safe, open to all and above all sustainable place, both from the point of view of the eco-sustainable choices intrinsic to its infrastructures, and from the point of view of the development of the territory and its accessibility. Thanks to the experience gained in a large company like SEA S.p.A., I have been able to deepen my passions, first of all that of flying.
I have participated in working groups in Italy and in some European countries, including Sweden, Norway, France, Germany and Romania, at the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) with the aim of optimizing existing infrastructures, contributing to the constant evolution of the technical sector regulations (CS-ADR-DSN – Book 1 and 2), sharing updates on sector innovations and new aircraft models, always keeping safety and risk management high.
Continuous improvement
In addition to being involved in the continuous improvement processes of business processes since 2013, as a TUV certified internal auditor, such as Energy, Environment Management and processes of integration of aviation safety in airports.
Since the end of 2020, I have been collaborating with the family businesses for which we work with enthusiasm, trying to improve ourselves day by day, making available the know-how acquired in the previous decades, some stimuli for innovation and business processes for managing budget expenses, monitoring investments, projects and growth strategies.
